Media trainings encouraged Fimea’s employees

Manifesto implemented media trainings for the pharmaceutical safety and development center, Fimea, in November. As Fimea’s actions are interesting to the media, stakeholders and the general public, it is important for the company’s experts to be able to communicate clearly and concretize also the difficult things to the public.

The focus was training with the camera. Each participant had interview questions related to their job profile prepared in advance. The participants practiced answering to the questions in made-up ‘TV interviews’. The discussion in front of the camera was open and enthusiastic. The employees also supported each other excellently and learned new things from each other during the training.

One of the trainings’ purposes was also to invest time in giving personal feedback to the participants. The training groups were kept small and each participant received a lot of feedback on how to communicate clearly and comprehensively using their personal strengths and without forgetting the power of concrete examples.

The trainings received a lot of positive feedback. According to the participants, the event exceeded expectations and was one of the best trainings they have attended.
