Manifesto wins two Finnish Comms Awards

Manifesto’s client work has won two awards in the Finnish Comms Awards organized by Marketing Finland. Manifesto’s collaboration with the robot delivery company Starship Technologies won the Public Affairs category, and in Pro Bono category Manifesto won together with MIELI Mental Health Finland.

“Winning awards is always about working together with a client. Success and high-quality are achieved through teamwork with shared goals. Awards are important tributes to our skills as PR professionals. They are a great source of pride within the agency and give us all an extra energy, including the customers,” says Manifesto CEO Harri Kammonen.

Manifesto & Starship Technologies – Public Affairs

Manifesto supported Starship, a developer of grocery delivery robots, in entering the Finnish market. Collaboration started with public affairs in 2018, culminating in the launch of the service in 2022.

The title of the Comms Awards entry was: Enabling the market entry for food delivery robots – a five-year comprehensive communication project from public affairs to launch communication

The Finnish Comms Awards jury’s comment:

“The agency has made a significant business and strategic impact on the entry of a new company into the market. Impressive!

In the agency entry, different phases of five years of cooperation were well presented. The work clearly shows the added value and relevance the agency brings to the client, not only in strategic communication, but also in stakeholder communication and public affairs. Understanding the Finnish market conditions is also highlighted in agency work. The good customer experience is clear and business value is well established.”

Manifesto & MIELI, Mental Health Finland – Pro Bono

Manifesto was responsible for PR and media relations in the Mental health ribbon campaign in spring 2022 on a pro bono basis. The goal of the campaign is to encourage people to talk about mental health and to reduce the stigma associated with problems.

The title of the Comms Awards entry was: Haloo Mieli! – Mielinauha campaign for the mental health of Finns.

The Finnish Comms Awards jury’s comment:

“An ambitious campaign that was extremely successful with a positive edge. Harnessing Finland’s most popular band in the campaign is a brilliant idea, which guaranteed a positive vibe for the entire communication.”

In all, Manifesto’s client works were shortlisted in five categories in the Finnish Comms Awards. Manifesto was one of the PR agencies with the most shortlisted entries. The winners were announced at the Finnish Comms Awards gala, in Helsinki, on Wednesday 26 October 2022.
