Pre-Xmas Press days in November brought together journalists and Finnish influencers to celebrate Christmas in a safe setting

On the 24th to 26th November, Manifesto hosted Pre-Xmas Press Days at the Manifesto Showroom. A total of 54 journalists and Finnish influencers visited the Showroom’s numerous lifestyle brands over three days. The represented brands were Dr. Wolff, Gold & Green, Ledvance, Lejos, Lenovo, mySafety, Tevella and Yamazaki. The new additions in the lineup were Polar fitness watches and The New Wood Project’s exhibition. Besides getting inspired of the brands and the exhibition, visitors enjoyed hot drinks and tasty snacks. Mulled wine serving from lovely Wanhan Porvoon Fabriikki lifted Christmas spirit even further.

“We got to safely enjoy warm encounters and wonderful Christmas atmosphere during the press days. It was great to see how the brands represented aroused interest and discussion among our guests”, says Lilli Lehkosuo, Manifesto Showroom Coordinator.

The New Wood Project exhibition offered lots of inspiration

Comprising more than 20 Finnish organizations, The New Wood Project is a community that promotes the wood-based bioeconomy and provides information to influencers and political decision-makers about the significance and value of wood-based products.

“At the press days, The New Wood Project’s exhibition reached almost 60 Finnish journalists and influencers. The content, framework and consideration of the Covid-situation in the arrangements received a lot of praise from our visitors. We were very satisfied with the implementation of the event and will continue our cooperation with Manifesto”, says Virpi Korhonen, The New Wood Project Manager.

Corona-safe arrangements 

The press days were conducted taking into account current safety restrictions regarding Covid-19. Manifesto’s corona-safe concept had been piloted with a smaller number of guests earlier in the autumn.

“The most important to us is to ensure that both guests and staff are safe. Guests registered to the press days beforehand by choosing the day and specific time when they will arrive to the Showroom. This allowed us to ensure that there were no more than eight guests on the premises at the same time. The staff and visitors diligently used face masks and the surfaces were constantly disinfected”, says Lilli Lehkosuo.
