New partner office for Manifesto in Tokyo

The global communication network IPREX, which is represented in Finland by PR Agency Manifesto, has expanded into Japan with Asoviva LLC communications agency in Tokyo joining the network in April.

Asoviva LLC was established in March this year, following the merger of three Japanese agencies, Replay, La Crèta and Attara E Tokyo. Asoviva offers marketing and communications services to international companies in growing their visibility and footprint in Japan and to Japanese companies reaching out to international consumers.

Led by Hiroshi Yasunaga, Keisuke Maeda and Masashi Otobe, Asoviva has extensive communications and marketing expertise in the areas of technology, gaming, entertainment, health, fashion, and food and beverage. Asoviva’s clients include Citizen Watch, Fuji Television, Johnson & Johnson and Orcam Technologies.

“Our approach is based on strategic focus group analyses. We have used them successfully to help many overseas companies establish a strong market position in Japan. As partners in IPREX we will increase our clients’ reach and influence as we help them engage with their audiences anywhere in the world,” says Hiroshi Yasunaga from Asoviva.

“Asoviva strengthens the IPREX network coverage in Asia. Japan is an important market for global companies, so finding a local communications partner was vitally important for our network. I have recently met with Asoviva’s representatives at IPREX’s global meeting and was very impressed by their cases and methods for approaching the Japanese market. Asoviva will create opportunities for our customers looking to make their mark in Japan,” says Harri Kammonen, CEO at Manifesto, who also serves as EMEA President for IPREX.

Earlier in the spring, the IPREX network expanded to Russia with the Moscow-based Altezza Communications joining IPREX in March. Altezza has strong expertise in corporate communications, consumer communications and marketing.

IPREX is a global network of 110 agencies worldwide. The agencies employ approximately 1,600 communications experts with a total turnover of USD 420 million. Manifesto has been a member of IPREX since 2009.
