Manifesto continues to promote Finnish small businesses on a pro bono basis – Showroom’s Press Days showcase jewellery brand Hopia Silver

Manifesto Showroom’s highly acclaimed pro bono collaborations continued with goldsmith Saara Kinnunen introducing her Hopia Silver firm at Manifesto’s Ready, Set, Summer press days in May.

“For a long time, we had been thinking about what Manifesto could do to make a difference and give something back. That’s when we came up with the idea of harnessing our professional expertise to support Finnish SMEs and start-ups. At our Showroom Press Days in November, we launched our first collaboration with Naku Jewellery,” says Jonna Varhama, partner at Manifesto.

At the following Press Days in May 2022, Manifesto was able to showcase the products and services of goldsmith Saara Kinnunen’s Hopia Silver company on a pro bono basis to an audience of almost 100 people. Hopia Silver is a one-woman firm that makes unique jewellery primarily from 925 silver and sustainably extracted precious and semi-precious stones. Hopia Silver also manufactures items to order. The idea to set up Hopia Silver was born when Saara Kinnunen, who had always enjoyed crafts, acquired goldsmith’s qualifications while working at her day job and decided to quit her previous position as a partner in a research consultancy company to become a jewellery artist.

“Naturally, I was delighted when contacted by Manifesto and excited to be able to present my work on a pro bono basis at the Manifesto Showroom Press Days. My Press Days, the first in my life, proved to be hugely interesting and rewarding. Thank you once more for the opportunity to present Hopia Silver’s brand and jewellery! It was a great pleasure to be there and to make new acquaintances”, Saara Kinnunen describes her feelings after the Press Days.

At the Press Days, Saara Kinnunen was able to sell jewellery and gain new orders. Hopia Silver proved to be of great interest to visitors, and the company received extensive coverage on influencers’ social media channels. Also, the Press Days provided the company with additional earned media visibility in the form of product highlights and interviews.

Manifesto will continue to introduce new start-ups or small entrepreneurs on a pro bono basis at the upcoming Press Days. The Showroom Press Days are held twice a year, in May and November.
