PR Partnership as a Sales Driver

Valued electronics brand Sony invests strongly in PR in the Nordic countries. Manifesto has served as Sony’s communication partner in Finland since 2012. Our mission is to support Sony’s brand and product sales by the means of media and blogger relations and product PR.

Sony Nordic’s PR is managed from Denmark, and Manifesto is responsible for the implementation of PR concepts and media relations in Finland related to televisions and other audio-visual products, cameras, tablets, mp3 players and computers.

Our goal is to support Sony’s brand and sales by creating media visibility in articles, product tests and news in channels that reach target groups. We also create ideas for product co-operation and product placement opportunities with partners.

The quantity and quality of Sony’s media hits have increased significantly during our co-operation. In addition, we have created good relationships with bloggers. For example, in summer 2013, we invited two Finnish bloggers as Sony’s guests to report about trends at the Roskilde festival. Festival stories and photos got high visibility in the bloggers’ own channels, in addition to Sony Nordic’s Facebook page.
